Diagnostica Stago Chooses Instranet
to Personalize Customer Relationships and Stimulate Sales Network
The World Leader in Hemostasis Diagnostic
Tools Chooses InStranet to Optimize Distribution of Product and
Service Information
New York, July 9, 2002 –
InStranet Inc., the leader in Content-Based Applications,
announced today that Diagnostica Stago has chosen InStranet’s
software to improve the production, segmentation and distribution
of its sales and marketing information and to stimulate its
distribution network in France and internationally.
With 35 years of experience and more than 400 product references,
Diagnostica Stago is the world leader in Hemostasis and a privileged
partner in the biology and medical sectors. With over 200 partners
in France and 80 other countries, Diagnostica Stago has initiated
an expansion of its flexible production and logistics system to
meet the increasingly varied and constantly growing demand of its
customers and foreign distributors, which include the major players
in the pharmaceutical industry.
The company has decided to implement InStranet’s “Marketing
Logistics” software to help manage the complexity of delivering
targeted product and service information to its diverse sets of
customers and distributors. The application will facilitate the
production of Diagnostica Stago’s complex product and service
information, and will automate the segmentation and delivery of
this information to distributors abroad and to hospitals and laboratories
in France.
Specifically, the Marketing Logistics application will enable Diagnostica
Stago to distribute targeted information via the Web, most of which
was previously made available to its different distribution channels
in printed form (sales brochures, product information, price lists).
Also, considering the company’s complex global structure and
the large number of user profiles involved in sales processes, InStranet’s
sophisticated segmentation features will be particularly useful
in helping Diagnostica Stago accurately personalize and target its
sales and marketing information.
Diagnostica Stago will communicate personalized technical information
concerning its product range directly to the biologists and technicians
working in the 5,000-plus hospitals and laboratories that constitute
its customer base in France. By making information such as sales
policies, discounts, and package offers more readily available to
international sales channels, the company will be better equipped
to manage its indirect sales force and boost productivity.
“With Marketing Logistics, we will be gaining a definite strategic
advantage by managing the entire product information exchange chain
from targeted distribution to sales follow-up,” says Jean-Marc
Obeniche, Manager of Information Systems at Diagnostica Stago. “With
InStranet’s innovative application, we can rationalize our
information exchange processes and save valuable time that can be
dedicated to quality of service and to developing even more efficient
products and diagnostic tools.”
