InStranet Announces Appointment of Alan Barr as UK Managing Director
CHICAGO, February 16, 2005 –
InStranet, Inc., the leader in multi-channel knowledge applications, today announced that Alan Barr will join the company as UK and Ireland Managing Director. Barr will have the responsibility for developing and implementing strategies to establish InStranet in the UK and Irish market, which include sales, marketing, and channels initiatives.

Prior to joining InStranet, Barr was Chief Operating Officer of Streamdoor Ltd, a start-up focused on establishing hosted IP voice and contact center services. Prior to Streamdoor, Barr served as Managing Director, UK and Ireland of Genesys Telecommunications where he played a pivotal role in driving contact center technology market growth and revenues. Previously held positions include Deputy MD of MCI Worldcom, Sales Director of Siemens Communications, Sales Director of Motorola ISG and sales and management positions with General Datacomm.
